Ketamine-S is a chiral molecule, meaning S-ketamine and R-ketamine are mirror images of each other. While R-ketamine is known for a gentler, less jarring dissociative state, S-ketamine is a more potent anesthetic and produces significantly more intense psychedelic effects.
